We are excited to be seeking an Assistant Director of English to support the Director of English to lead a dynamic team in achieving the very best for all our students.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience as you will contribute to the overall leadership and management of Guilsborough Academy and be active in promoting its aims and supporting an ethos that promotes achievement and high standards.

With the support of the Director of English, you will provide outstanding educational leadership for all colleagues that teach within the department. You will be fundamental in leading the development, planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of student progress in Key Stage Three and engage effectively with all partners in providing a high-quality learning environment. You will be a strong role model for our students and teachers that you lead and manage and proactive in sharing ideas and leading on the continual development of the department.
