Assistant Head job summary

Due to expansion of our leadership team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring future leader and outstanding class teacher to join the SLT of our large primary school and nursery. This position ideally starts in summer term 2020, but an autumn term start may be considered for the right candidate.
Brightlingsea Primary School and Nursery aims to be an inclusive school that enables every child to reach their full potential and overcome barriers to learning. We are a community school with a three form intake, and believe in working in partnership with children’s families, other agencies and local schools.
This is primarily a class teaching role, with dedicated management time to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role. Additional responsibilities include phase leadership and staff professional development.
You will join an experienced and supportive extended leadership team of Head teacher, Deputy Head teacher and subject Hub leaders.
