Due to the current post holder gaining promotion, we are seeking a talented and hardworking colleague to join our English team as Assistant Head of English. This is an exciting role where you will be responsible, in particular, for the running and development of Key Stage 3 in order to take us into the next stage of our development. KSA achieved an Ofsted 'Good' in July 2023, and we are now looking to consolidate and embed our practice where it matters most - in the classroom.

We are particularly interested in hearing from colleagues who have a real passion for curriculum and pedagogy and for improving teaching and learning. The successful candidate will play a lead role in helping shape the next phase of improvement in this core subject. The role would be ideal for anyone who is looking to become a Head of English in the future, and who desires to be at the forefront, leading and developing our inspirational vision for English at KSA.

You will be joining KSA at a time where we are setting out an ambitious plan for the future based around three key themes of belonging, reflection, and collaboration. Ultimately, we exist to enable everyone connected with the school to be the best they can be. We are clear that all children deserve our unwavering and unconditional regard, and we have ambitious plans for making this a reality in all our classrooms and in all our interactions.
