This role goes beyond teaching. As Assistant Head of Faculty, you will:

  • Support and co-lead a highly successful Mathematics department in delivering a high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum.
  • Play a key strategic role in curriculum design, resourcing, and implementation across the department.
  • Lead a key stage or specialist area, ensuring consistent high standards and engagement across all classes.
  • Inspire colleagues, support staff development through mentoring and coaching, and contribute to departmental and whole-school improvement.
  • Influence whole-school leadership, working closely with the Head of Faculty and middle leaders across the Trust.
  • Be instrumental in driving high student outcomes while fostering an inclusive, positive, and aspirational culture.
