The Beaulieu Park School is a thriving, high-performing, oversubscribed and Ofsted Outstanding all-through school in Chelmsford, Essex. As we continue to grow, we are excited to expand our leadership team further. Our primary phase is a 4-form entry school, spread across two sites.
We are seeking an exceptional teacher and leaderwith a proven track record of outstanding classroom practice across key stages. The successful candidate will be an expert in teaching and learning, passionate about curriculum development and committed to ensuring the highest standards of pedagogy and pupil outcomes. They will be an ambitious and energetic professional with the qualities to be successful in leading teams, coaching staff, monitoring teaching and learning and driving whole-school improvement. This role includes a 0.5 teaching commitment, ensuring the post-holder remains at the heart of classroom practice while shaping the learning experience across the school.
Although this is a leadership role within the primary phase, we expect our Assistant Head of Primary School to collaborate closely with secondary colleaguesand embrace the opportunities of working within an all-through school. Additionally, they will work alongside colleagues across the Chelmsford Learning Partnershipto improve outcomes for all students across our trust.

The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school and the primary phase opens for reception students in September 2018 with the secondary phase opening in September 2019. The Beaulieu Park School will welcome its first cohort of 60 reception aged children in two classes. In September 2019, 180 Year 7 students will be admitted. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2024 and 900 places for local children between 11 and 16 years old by 2023.
