The First Federation Trust is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head of School for Gatehouse Primary Academy (NOR: 338). The school is located on the coast in the heart of Dawlish, just 10 miles from A38.
Gatehouse forms part of the South Hub within the First Federation Trust. Collaboration between schools, in both the hub and Trust, has a significant impact on teaching and learning and school improvement. The successful candidate, in the Assistant Head of School role, will be part of the leadership team within the school. They will have a specific area of whole school development as their focus (this could be either curriculum, or personal development). This role has a class responsibility; the successful candidate will be required to teach in LKS2.
We are seeking to appoint someone who wants to make a difference for children, hone and develop their leadership skills and work in a distributed leadership system. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high performing Multi Academy Trust.

We are a large, coastal Primary School . We currently have 338 children on roll, split into 12 classes. We aim to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment for all children to learn. Each child is supported and encouraged to do their best and take part in a wide range of opportunities and experiences building happy memories of their school days.
