Pay scale: H8 (SCP 23-26) £32,076 - £34,834 paid pro rata for hours and weeks worked

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Weeks: 39 weeks term time plus 1 week (39 weeks) 0.8631415 FTE

Actual salary: £27,686.13 - £30,066.67 (includes holiday entitlement)

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our talented support staff team. The Assistant Head of Year will be responsible for raising the standards of attainment for all students in specific year groups and contribute to the whole school improvement working closely with behavior and inclusion teams.

We are looking for someone who:

Has successful recent working experience within a pastoral/behavioral environment with children of relevant age

Ability to apply positive behavior management strategies that support a successful learning environment

Ability to support leading a team of tutors to provide a quality provision for the year group

To work effectively as part of a team

Work calmly under pressure
