Assistant Head of Year job summary
We require an enthusiastic Assistant Head of Year with pastoral expertise to join our team as soon as possible.
A visionary and experienced member of staff, you will combine a passion for excellence, an understanding of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and the ability to inspire students with your own example and love of learning.
If you share our core values you can join our closely-knit pastoral team to make your mark at the heart of our school. Your role as Assistant Head of Year will be to ensure that students across KS3 and KS4 are well cared for and that they make personal best academic progress, ensuring that high expectations are met with regards to attendance, behaviour and achievement, and recognising and rewarding accomplishments. You will be an excellent communicator, able to engage with both students, parents and staff to create an environment for students in which they are able to show respect, maturity and character underpinned by a desire to do hard things.
