What skills and experience we're looking for

Clarion Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Head to join our Leadership team at Pakefield High School, Lowestoft. The position of AHT: Raising Achievement will have strategic responsibility and accountability for the Pupil Premium budget, and the effectiveness of its deployment at the school. The role will also focus on a holistic view of raising achievement across the school, using the NTP funding, assemblies, trips and visits, extra-curricular opportunities and careers as methods of raising aspirations across the school. These are the anticipated roles and responsibilities for the post, but can be adapted for the right candidate.

If you an experienced middle leader who is ready for Leadership or if you are an existing Senior Leader ready for a change, this post is ideal for you.

You will be someone who understands and enjoys working with young people, is well organised, flexible, adaptable and enjoys variety in your work. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students and gain their respect. The successful candidate will be able to influence and motivate others via their own excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
