What skills and experience we're looking for
· BEd/BA Hons/PGCE Degree / Qualified Teacher Status
· Evidence of further professional development
- Holds the SENDCo Award (desirable)
· Has a minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience
· Has a sound understanding of the primary National Curriculum and the Early Years framework.
- Has knowledge of a range and types of interventions available
- Has a passion for SEND
Has experience of being a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Has a working knowledge of Early Help/Early Support available for families
· Ambition, energy, enthusiasm, determination and drive to develop the AHT SENDCO role at LLPS
· Able to effectively manage SEN provision across the school.

Due to the nature of the role, we will be looking to recruit experienced teacher(s) at TMS M3 or above. Flexible working may be available for the role. Job share of this role may be considered for the right candidates. A passion for SEND is essential.
