Assistant Head Teacher job summary

Blenheim is a very high achieving school in the centre of Leeds. We have brilliant children and staff and due to the promotion of the current post-holder we are looking for an ambitious Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team which consists of Head, two deputy heads, two Assistant heads and TLRs.
We have brilliant children and staff and are are proud of the amazing progress our children make, which is largely down to our high expectations and dedicated staff. We are a happy and hardworking school.
We are looking for:
An exemplary practitioner who is able to evidence outstanding impact on pupil oucomes;
A proven track record of leading a curriculum subject successfully with a willingness to transfer these skills to any subject;
Strong capacity to lead on either the quality of the curriculum or personal development, behaviour and attitudes;
Experience of teaching in more than one age range but with expertise in one phase, either Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2 or Upper Key Stage 2;
The ability to lead that phase including on monitoring teaching and learning, subject leadership, deployment of staff, reporting of progressand supporting staff to maintain high standards of behaviour;
The ability to lead and influence other staff through acting as a role model, developing CPD programmes and coaching;
Exemplification of the following characteristics: reflective; organised; enthusiastic; analytical; approachable; pro-active; excellent communicator and the ability to 'see the big picture'.
Interviews are to be held in the week beginning 23.5.22
