What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of successfully leading on aspects of school improvement identified through the school’s self-evaluation and monitoring the impact of initiatives
  • Successful teaching experience across the primary age range
  • Excellent classroom practitioner
  • A sound understanding of strategies to support all children’s learning
  • Understanding of high-quality teaching, the ability to model this and to support others to improve
  • Substantial knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum and an understanding of the provision for SEND pupils
