Assistant Head Teacher job summary

We are seeking a motivated and committed professional who is looking for the next challenge in their career to help maintain our existing outstanding practice. Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will provide strategic leadership to the School in order to secure success and continuous improvement and support the Head Teacher and Governors in achieving our strategic aims and values.

We are looking for an Assistant Head who:
• Has a proven track record of successful leadership, management and school improvement;
• Has an excellent understanding of strategies which allow all students to make progress and reach their full potential;
• Has the personal qualities which influence, motivate and inspire others to learn from best practice and be confident to accept responsibility, innovate and lead change;
• Able to respond and adapt effectively to changing circumstances, maintaining high levels of performance.
• Will actively promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the school.
