Ruskin is a happy, ambitious and inclusive school where students and teachers enjoy learning together. We have a clear vision for the school which aims to establish a partnership between parents and teachers in order for all of our students to achieve success.
We believe that every student should have the opportunity to thrive both academically and in their personal development and social skills. We are committed to ensuring that all students achieve their true potential regardless of ability, age or background.
In 2019, Ruskin was, once again, judged to be a “good school” by Ofsted and we continue to strive to deliver excellence in education. We are an extremely popular school of choice which has resulted in the school being oversubscribed for several years now. Ruskin is certainly a good school of choice and it is evident that our students are proud of themselves and the school.
Our students and staff work well together, behaviour is very positive, and learning is our priority. We are tolerant and inclusive which creates a learning environment which our students enjoy. High expectations/ engaging learning and teaching and traditional standards are underpinned by strong pastoral care.
For all of these reasons we are an extremely popular choice with parents and we also enjoy a positive reputation within the community that we are proud to serve.
Our School is ideally situated on Ruskin Road, not far from Nantwich Road in Crewe, Cheshire in the North West of England. The school is very easily accessible; 19.7 miles from Manchester Airport, 5.2 miles from Junction 16 of the M6, 0.9 miles from the main railway station and Nantwich Road is on many major bus routes.
