What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Assistant Headteacher at Westfield Primary Academy from January 2024. We are looking to appoint an excellent Assistant Headteacher, committed to achieving the best outcomes for our pupils and the best support and development of our staff.
We are looking for an exceptional teacher and leader who is able to inspire confidence and respect from the teams they work with. The successful candidate will be able to deliver and sustain educational excellence in teaching and learning throughout the school and more widely as part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team, through a range of Leadership strategies. Candidates need not be current senior leaders.
The successful candidate will join a strong, friendly and supportive senior leadership team and will have opportunities to shape the partnership working between Westfield Primary Academy and Samuel Ward Academy as we work together to offer an exceptional educational experience from early years to A-Level.
