Assistant Headteacher - Behaviour and Pastoral job summary
The Directors of St John the Baptist Catholic Multi-Academy Trust and the Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead this school in the next phase of its development.
We are deeply committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. This role will focus on ensuring outstanding standards of behaviour and exceptional pastoral care, guiding our pupils in both their academic and personal growth.
As Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Behaviour and Pastoral Care, you will lead the strategic direction and management of our behaviour and pastoral support systems. Your work will be pivotal in fostering a positive, inclusive and safe school environment. You will work closely with the Headteacher, SENDCo, staff, students and parents to embed our values and create a culture of respect and resilience. The school and the Trust are part of the Diocese of East Anglia and has a supporting governing body with dedicated, experienced staff and the most wonderful, happy pupils.
The successful candidate will:

- Have a proven track record in school leadership, with experience managing behaviour and pupil care
