We are seeking to appoint a versatile and highly effective individual teacher to join our SLT as an Assistant Headteacher. Like us, you will be organised, dynamic and hardworking as well as having an excellent track record within the classroom. You will have a desire to positively impact students’ life chances through a holistic and strategic rationale.
We are more interested in the ethos, skill-set and adaptability that the successful candidate displays to complement our existing team, rather than stating a particular role within our SLT at this point. We will formulate the specifics of the role as part of the recruitment process.
Staff are exceptionally well supported at Bilton school, it is very much an open-door school where collegiality, distributed leadership and team work is valued to the highest degree. Above all you will be dedicated to facilitating all our students in being the best that they can be.
The successful candidate will: -
● Be versatile and adaptable, with an ability to solve problems.
● Have a proven track record of success across their career to date. We would be particularly interested to receive applications from candidates who can teach Science.
● Be passionate and enthusiastic about holistic education and nurturing the 21st century learner.
● Have good interpersonal skills.
● Have excellent communication skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels.
● Be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development.
