The Governing Body has recently decided to enter into a collaboration with Grace Owen Nursery in Sheffield that will allow us to work together to share our excellent practice and maximise leadership capacity across the two settings.
Broomhall Nursery school has received three consecutive Outstanding Ofsted judgements and has a strong reputation for its work with families. It is aLocal Authority Centre of Excellence for SEND. Broomhall is a truly inclusive school.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to generating a lifelong love of learning in all children. Ofsted has described how,
“The vast majority of children make rapid progress during their time in the nursery and are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage in their education”
Broomhall Nursery has wonderful indoor and outdoor classrooms which are great places to play and learn. The creative and innovative activities we provide give children the best possible start to their education.
We are a very forward-thinking school and are constantly seeking out and implementing innovative approaches. We have recently received Accredited Status in the Curiosity Approach https://www.thecuriosityapproach.com/
The nursery occupies a large Victorian house set in beautiful, extensive walled gardens on the edge of the City Centre, we are just a few minutes’ walk from the universities, hospitals and the bustling Ecclesall Road.
