Our Lady & St Bede Catholic Academy and the Directors of Carmel Education Trust invite applications for the post of Assistant Headteacher – Catholic Life of the School.

This is an exciting and innovative opportunity for a practicing Catholic looking to move in to a significant leadership role in a Catholic School. The successful candidate will be a passionate, dynamic and committed leader of the Catholic life of the school who has the faith and ability to lead the formation of staff and pupils in our tradition. As an integral part of this role we are looking for an exceptional leader who will inspire staff and pupils in the pursuit of academic excellence.
The successful candidate will have:
• The belief, practical ideas and leadership skills to help manifest our Catholic ethos throughout all aspects of school life to ensure a distinct and clear purpose in all we do.
• The faith and vision in leading the formation of all staff and pupils in the Catholic tradition.
• Excellent leadership qualities and management skills.
• A commitment to maximising achievement through excellence in teaching and learning.
• An excellent track record as a classroom teacher and school leader.
