This is an exciting time for Christ Church Primary School as we continue on our journey from good to outstanding. We are very proud of our wonderful children, who have many different ethnic heritages and who enjoy attending one of the newest built primary schools in Burton.
We are also proud of our committed and hard-working staff team who help to prepare our children for the wider world by providing them with a broad balanced curriculum. The Assistant Headteacher will complete our effective and enthusiastic Senior Leadership team working alongside the Headteacher to augment the safe, nurturing, caring and stimulating environment for learning that Christ Church Primary is recognised for. Our ‘Love to Learn, Learn to Love’ ethos underpins all we do, working in partnership with parents, governors and the wider community.

Location
The school is located in the centre of Burton upon Trent with easy access to surrounding areas of Derby, Lichfield and Tamworth. The PAN is 45 so we have some mixed age range classes.
Accommodation
Initially an infant school the school became a newly built primary school in 2012. The school is sited on three levels with the EYFS and Nursery on the ground floor, KS1 on the second floor and KS2 on the second floor. The PAN is 45 so we have some mixed age range classes.
Midday meals are served on the premises by a catering team.
Community
Christ Church serves a very diverse community with 19 home languages spoken and around 80% of our pupils are classed as EAL.

The school works with a group of local Primary schools and one High school in the Burton Rivers Collaborative Partnership.
