Assistant Headteacher (Curriculum, Maths and English including Reading and Phonics job summary

If you are:

  • A passionate and motivational senior leader with high expectations for student achievement
  • An experienced and successful Maths or English/ Reading/ Phonics subject leader in a primary school setting
  • An outstanding practitioner who acts as an inspirational role model, setting high expectations for all staff
  • Confident in developing and sustaining an effective, broad and purposeful curriculum
  • Determined to ensure that students in our school are able to leave with high aspirations and the skills required for a successful transition
  • Unrelenting and innovative when addressing challenging behaviour
  • Able to work effectively with a wide range of agencies and stakeholders

If you have:

  • A proven track record of managing, motivating and supporting SEMH students and the staff that work with them to produce exceptional results
  • An emotionally intelligent and resilient personality
