Assistant Headteacher job summary
To lead on all areas with regards to establishing an ethos of high expectations across all stakeholders with regards to Attitudes (Behaviour & Engagement) and Achievement (Promoting, Celebrating & Rewarding Success). Specific responsibilities will include
• Strategic lead for Attitudes (Expectations & Behaviour)
• Strategic lead for Ethos (BeDCC)
• Strategic lead for Rewards
• Strategic lead for Sanctions
• Oversight of student councils
• Oversight of student leadership
• Oversight of celebrating achievement
• Oversight for Student Voice (Leadership & Rewards)
• Oversight of Behaviour Interventions
• Line management of identified Heads of Subject

Denton Community College is an 11 – 16, 1350 place mixed community high school. We opened in September 2010 and January 2012 moved into our new state of the art building which has latest up-to-date technology resources. In 2015 we were judged by Ofsted as a ‘Good’
