What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher from January 2024 initially on a one-year fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will have the ability and experience to further develop teaching and learning across the school.

They will be a dynamic teacher able to coach and mentor colleagues and lead on the continued development of standards.

Successful candidates will also need to demonstrate how they will have a positive impact upon the personal development of pupils.

We require someone who:

  • is an excellent classroom practitioner
  • is ready to progress to the challenges and rewards of a leadership role
  • will work in partnership with the Headteacher and Deputy Head to continue to build on the success of the school
  • has experience of organising, promoting, and evaluating curriculum development
  • is committed to the growth and development of colleagues
