The Trustees of this well established outstanding school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our superb senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner willing to go above and beyond to ensure all pupils' needs are met. They will be innovative in their approach to curriculum design; an enthusiastic and motivated leader with the ability to inspire both staff and pupils alongside having a clear strategic outlook for the development of our KS1/2 provision.
The successful candidate will be a key leader in an organisation that has inclusion at the heart of everything it does. With this in mind we are looking to appoint someone who is highly skilled and has creative and effective approaches to facilitating our pupils' educational needs.
Eaton Hall Specialist Academy is a residential SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) school for boys from Year 3 through to Year 11. The school works closely with its sister school Bure Park Specialist Academy in Great Yarmouth. The multi-disciplinary team consists of care staff, teachers and TAs who facilitate the school’s twin aims of re-integrating pupils into their home environment and where appropriate mainstream school.
Pupils arrive with disrupted educational experiences and complex difficulties and our team is responsible for ensuring that they leave with superb outcomes.
As a member of the Broad Horizons Education Trust family of schools Eaton Hall Specialist Academy is committed, and central to the Trust Vision, Mission and Philosophy:
Vision
Our ambition is simply to offer the best education and experience so that every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
Mission
To create a climate of inclusion, equality and trust that unlocks the potential of everyone in our community of schools and in the wider Norfolk education system.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is that “time matters”. School years are precious for every child and young person and we will improve how our family of schools work to make every moment in school count.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to be part of a highly motivated exceptional team who strive to establish the highest standards and who are instrumental in ensuring that we change children’s lives. As such we are looking to recruit an experienced senior school leader. Whilst direct experience in a special education setting is by no means essential leadership experience in areas of SEN or ‘pastoral’ work will give an important context for anyone looking to move into this richly rewarding and inspiring area of school education.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations, therefore you will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether disqualified under these regulations.
