What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of the English curriculum across the school
Provide high-quality coaching and mentoring support to Early Career Teachers
Monitor and evaluate the quality of English teaching and learning, identifying areas for improvement
Collaborate with the leadership team to set and achieve ambitious targets for pupil progress and attainment in English
Promote a love of reading and writing throughout the school
Contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Significant experience teaching English at secondary level
Proven track record of driving improvements in English outcomes
Excellent knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment frameworks
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Ability to inspire and motivate both pupils and staff
