Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Safeguarding job summary
The fundamental core task of the Assistant Headteacher/Inclusion Leader is to take the lead on and ensure that the needs of all vulnerable children including, but not limited to, SEN, EAL, Disadvantaged, CP and CLA, are met to a high standard. In doing so: staff should be supported, developed and challenged; provision should be planned for and evaluated, and children and adults should live and breathe aspirational inclusive practice.
Key Responsibilities;
Inclusion including SENCO, EAL, Disadvantaged, Vulnerable, Safeguarding & Child Protection Lead (DSL), Attendance, and Children who are Looked After Lead.
