Assistant Headteacher job summary
Due to continuing growth, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join the Senior Leadership Team at one of our schools in the newly formed Meridian Trust. The post is likely to be based at either Histon & Impington Brook/Park Primary School or Hatton Park Primary School. The primary focus of the role will be to work alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to continue to drive standards and pupil progress, by supporting teaching and learning and leading a core subject. This will require working closely with other senior leaders across the trust and working collaboratively to continue to develop outstanding practice.
We are delighted to announce the recent merger, from 1st April 2022, of the Cambridge Primary Education Trust with the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust to form the Meridian Trust. Our schools within the Meridian Trust work very closely together and we promote collaborative working across the whole Trust in addition to providing outstanding professional development opportunities for all of our staff.
