Assistant Headteacher job summary
The Governors are seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational teacher and leader. Following on from the promotion of two school leaders, the Governing Body wishes to bolster the core leadership team with the appointment of an Assistant Headteacher. The ideal candidate will be an experienced KS1 teacher and have a strong understanding of where children have come from (EYFS) and where they will transition to next (KS2).
The successful applicant will be passionate and experienced in the development of teaching and learning. They will be able to inspire children through world class teaching and learning, providing an environment which challenges children.
The successful candidate will be able to lead an aspect of the School Improvement Plan and lead the Key Stage 1 phase. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful applicant will contribute to operational and strategic aspects of school life.
