What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to fulfil the role of Inclusion, Behaviour and Pastoral Lead. We are looking for a leader who is ambitious for, and committed to, securing positive outcomes for all children. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a clear vision for excellence and an ability to work with the school community to enable all children to be the best they can be.
You will have:
- An ability to nurture the Catholic ethos of our school
- A clear view of excellence and high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Leadership skills to support and sustain school improvement
- Understanding and experience of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils and staff, parents, governors and MAC directors
- A desire for continuing professional development
