What skills and experience we're looking for
We are a popular primary school in South West London wishing to appoint a motivated and dynamic Inclusion Manager to champion the cause of our SEN children. This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced and well-qualified person who has outstanding vision and drive and an absolute commitment to raising standards for every child. Applications are invited from teachers who are either currently working as a SENCO / Inclusion Manager or who are keen to gain a position and hold/or are willing to complete the National Award for SENCOs.
Our new Assistant Head for Inclusion will:
- Be an excellent teacher and leader with a proven record of raising achievement
- Have a passion for children’s learning and development as well as their emotional needs and wellbeing
- Be able to accept challenges, inspire and motivate others
- Be strategic, resourceful, innovative and able to embrace change
- Have the ability to plan strategically and build upon existing good practice
- Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrate a commitment towards Child Protection and Safeguarding
