What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and creative Assistant Headteacher to join us in January 2024. The role provides an excellent opportunity for an outstanding leader to drive significant school improvement in English and reading. We are looking for a strategic thinker, who will embrace the opportunity to work collaboratively to embed sustainable school improvement. You will have the autonomy and freedom to lead English at this school for lasting impact, and you will find a staff and student body who readily embrace change for the better.
The position requires someone with significant experience in English teaching, who can inspire others and help us deliver our vision. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- The energy, drive and resilience to make a tangible difference in a large and ambitious school and Federation.
- The integrity, moral purpose, presence and emotional intelligence necessary to inspire confidence in staff, students and parents.
