We are looking to appoint an excellent Assistant Headteacher who has the ability and vision to further increase the school’s leadership capacity and raise the quality of teaching and learning standards across the whole school.
You will join our team of committed staff who are all determined to provide the very best education for our children. You will need to demonstrate full commitment to supporting our school vision which aims to develop passionate learners who possess the skills, knowledge and values to succeed within our diverse society.
The successful candidate will need to model the highest standards in their own practice as well as be able to support and develop colleagues across the school.
The responsibilities for this position will include leading teaching and learning through coaching and support and leading professional development. The candidate will also take a lead role in the day to day and strategic running of the school.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for teaching a class but will be given designated leadership time out of class each week to fulfil the role. This role will suit an experienced, ambitious primary teacher with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to accelerate pupils’ progress, to mentor and coach others and to lead professional development.
