Assistant Headteacher job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader with significant leadership experience to lead on supporting each young person that attends the Links Academy Hatfield in reaching their full potential through breaking down all barriers to learning.

Links Multi Academy Trust provides placements for pupils permanently excluded or at risk of being permanently excluded from their mainstream school. The young people who are on roll present with complex needs requiring individual strategies and interventions. We pride ourselves on our strong relational approach and making meaningful connections to help build a trusting and safe environment for everyone.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of leading on whole school initiatives that have had significant impact. They will be a dynamic and confident individual who has the passion, energy, skills and knowledge to make a difference. The post will be part of a team ensuring that all areas from our School Development Plan are implemented. Exact duties will be agreed based on the most suitable candidate.

You will be expected at times to work across the Trust.
