Assistant Headteacher – Personal Development & KS3 job summary
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher from January 2022 to lead on Personal Development and KS3 in our school. As a member of SLT, you will play an important role in the overall leadership and management of the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising attainment and leading the development of KS3 education within the school. You will also be responsible for leading on the development of a curriculum that extends beyond the academic, providing for students’ broader development. You will promote equality and diversity within the school ensuring that all our students have access to a wide, rich set of experiences and are prepared for future success in education, employment and training.
You will have:
• the ability to develop our students to achieve their best regardless of background or circumstances;
• a track record of outstanding teaching across Key Stages 3 to 4;
• proven ability and enthusiasm to motivate students and staff;
• the ability to establish excellent relationships within the school, the community and other stakeholders;
• significant relevant experience of contributing to whole school issues.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking staff and school leadership team who ensure that the academic and social development of every student is at the heart of what they do.
