Primary is an outstanding school, and we are looking to appoint an
enthusiastic, highly motivated, inspirational teacher to lead our Key Stage One
team, Phonics and Reading strategy across the school in conjunction with a
supportive leadership team. Your role is
firmly rooted in our school beliefs of ‘Courage, Truth and Loyalty,’ with
opportunities to coach and mentor staff and lead change across our school for
the benefit of our staff, children and community.
Our school is a large two
form, 3-11 primary based in Roundhay. We
have wonderful pupils and a hardworking, committed staff who have helped shape
the school into a nurturing and vibrant educational establishment at the heart
of the community. We take pride in the

staff and work using their own initiative

manage colleagues exceptionally well
- Is a
well-researched professional who will never back away from a challenge, who
loves identifying and removing barriers and thereby making a difference
- Can lead and has the
desire to coach and mentor staff to ensure the quality of our phonics and
reading provision remains of the highest quality
- Believes in the
potential of all children and is confident that they have the ability to support
them to excel at our school
