Assistant Headteacher - Primary job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Headteacher to work across Trust’s primary schools. It is likely that you will be working in one school initially, supporting senior leadership and having a significant impact on school improvement. You will also have a teaching commitment and two areas of whole school responsibility.

Applicants should be strong classroom practitioners with a proven track record. You will have a range of skills and expertise to offer and applicants from all key stages will be considered.

You will:
• be an inspiring and supportive leader with the ability to encourage and develop others
• have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and OFSTED framework
• have a track record of outstanding teaching
• have high expectations of yourself and others
• be able to work cooperatively and effectively with staff, parents, pupils and the Trust
• have a strong moral purpose to promote equality, opportunity and excellence for all children
