We are looking for a Assitant Headteacher SENCo who:

  • will promote the vision and culture that supports the school’s SEND policy
  • is inclusive and promotes good outcomes for pupils with SEND
  • will demonstrate and facilitate quality first teaching across the school, improving outcomes for all pupils
  • sustains our nurturing environment, where staff and children’s well-being and mental health is a priority
  • has a passion and drive to make a difference to our children’s learning, progress and social development
  • is committed to sharing and championing our school vision and values.

St Mary’s is a one-form entry church primary school with nursery situated in the heart of the community, and was established 150 years ago. The school is situated in a residential area in Chessington, close to the 12th century parish church. It is a friendly school, loved by children, staff, governors and parents alike.
