Pontefract Academies Trust are looking for an outstanding practitioner who would like to develop their leadership skills, working as part of the senior leadership team at Carleton High School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the SEND culture across the school, working with all student groups, including the most vulnerable, to ensure that their progress is in line with that of all other students. They will be a leader that puts students at the heart of what they do, making a positive impact and raising standards and the quality of experience for all.

Carleton High School is firmly on track to become ‘outstanding.’ Our 2022 outcomes are the best results the school has achieved. We have been awarded most improved school in the North of England 2020. Carleton High School has a strong team of amazing teachers and inspirational leaders, as well as a fantastic cohort of students.
