Kings Meadow School is a primary special academy that is part of the Creating Tomorrow Multi Academy Trust. The pupils who attend have complex social, emotional and mental health as their primary need and other associated difficulties. Many children have attachment, and trauma needs and sometimes neurodivergent difficulties such as ADHD.

We are looking to recruit a conscientious, driven and enthusiastic Assistant Head Teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in strategically leading and managing the school. This Assistant Head Teacher role will have responsibility for developing and implementing effective systems to ensure high expectations for student outcomes. The role will have a specific focus on SEND provision and EHCP outcomes and enhancing systems around Annual Reviews and Provision Mapping, ensuring individual needs are met.

  • Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
