Assistant Headteacher - SENDCO and Inclusion Lead job summary
For September 2022 we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher and senior leader who shares our aim of harnessing the enormous potential of our students and challenges them to be the best that they can be.
We are looking to appoint as our Assistant Headteacher someone who is an experienced, skilled and strategic leader with a proven track record of improving the outcomes and experiences of young people. The post holder will be responsible for leading their team to ensure high levels of achievement and progress for all students. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the school SENDCO.
• Developing the school SEND policy and practices.
• Leading the SEND and Inclusion teams to ensure high levels of achievement for all.
• Co-ordinating the support and provision for vulnerable students including those with
SEND.
• Acting as the strategic lead for inclusion, alternative pathways, and collaborative provision.
