Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO job summary
Brookland Infant & Nursery School is looking to recruit a highly innovative and inspirational Assistant Head with SENDCO responsibilities to join our school community. We value every child as a unique individual with infinite potential.
In this crucial position you will work closely with the Headteacher to monitor and support the high standards of teaching and learning across the school. You will also work closely with families, lead a team of Learning Support Assistants and be confident in using data to evaluate the impact of support and interventions, ensuring that our practice is effective in supporting pupil progress. The job will also involve paperwork relating to EHCPs, HNF funding and other areas of SEND.
You should:
Have QTS.
Have a passion for education, inclusion and safeguarding.
Hold the SENDCO accreditation award or equivalent
Have some leadership experience
Be able to contribute to the strategic view of the school.
Have good computing skills
Be able to analyse data
