Assistant Headteacher SENDCo plus other duties based on previous experience – ATAM Academy job summary
We are seeking an inspirational and motivated Assistant Headteacher who will have overall responsibility for determining the strategic development of SEND policy and provision in our school ensuring the best possible opportunities for our students. The successful candidate will play a major role under the overall direction of the Deputy Headteacher Pastoral and Inclusion. You will be empowered to improve policy, process and practice in the delivery of SEND across both all phases of our school. We are looking for someone who has a proven ability in strategic thinking, ensuring the academy continues to provide high quality education for all our children in a caring, inclusive environment.
This post will enhance the Senior Leadership Team of the academy and will take a lead role in all aspects of school improvement related to pastoral care. Within your application you should state clearly why you are the ideal candidate for this role stating examples of where you have had significant impact on academic standards.
