Following the promotion of the current Postholder, The Bridge Short Stay School are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to fulfil the role of Assistant Headteacher. This post currently includes the role of SENDCo, areas of responsibility will be agreed with the successful candidate, but the ability to continue to develop our SEN provision would be an advantage
The successful candidate must believe in the potential of all young people and be able to demonstrate a commitment to growth in students who demonstrate challenging behaviours.
As a member of SLT, the successful candidate will provide leadership to the school and help to drive forward further improvements in provision. This post will be integral to our work in developing teaching & learning and in supporting successful transitions in and out of the school. You will join a happy and hardworking staff team who care passionately about improving the life chances of young people.
This is an excellent opportunity for a current middle or senior leader with further leadership aspirations. You’ll be supported to develop autonomous leadership of your areas of responsibility with access to further CPD enabling you to grow your own skills and potential for further promotion in the future.
