What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Support fully our Catholic ethos, vision and values
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching and be a practitioner that others can be inspired by
  • Be an excellent practitioner with secure knowledge of all Key Stages including EYFS
  • Support the school through the development of teaching and learning priorities across the school;
  • Be accountable for the standards of achievement of pupils;
  • Support policy development and implementation;
  • Have an impact on the educational progress of the pupils
  • Support, develop and enhance the teaching practice of the school’s staff
  • Be committed to achieving the best outcome for every child
  • Be committed to their own continuing professional development
  • Lead specific areas of the School’s Development Plan, or a core area across the school
  • Support middle and subject leaders
  • Support the Head of School in raising standards across the school and developing leaders;
  • Work with the Head of school in ensuring the good order of the school and provide an environment in which all adults and children are enabled to achieve success and be proud of.
  • Liaise with other schools in our special ‘partnership’
  • Support on Teaching, Learning and Assessment
