What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the retirement of a long serving assistant Headteacher, the Board of Directors are seeking to appoint a committed leader to support the headteacher and strengthen the leadership of our outstanding school as it prepares for the next phase of its development. The successful candidate should be able to articulate a vision for education, provide a record of successful leadership and demonstrate a clear understanding of collaboration within a multi-academy company (MAC).
We want our new Assistant Headteacher to:
- Demonstrate an awareness of Catholic education.
- Be an excellent practitioner, leading by example.
- Experience of developing the curriculum, monitoring and assessment.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills: to work with parents and the wider community.
- Present a vision for supporting and developing provision for disadvantaged pupils.
