What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher and senior leader who shares our aim of harnessing the enormous potential of our students and challenges them to be the best that they can be.
We are looking to appoint as our Assistant Headteacher someone who is an experienced, skilled and strategic leader with a proven track record of improving the outcomes and experiences of young people. The post holder will be responsible leading their team to ensure high standards of behaviour and pastoral provision across a key stage. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and conduct
- Promoting positive attitudes to learning and student engagement
- Ensuring excellent levels of attendance and punctuality
- Ensuring that students receive first class pastoral care
- Student welfare and safeguarding
- The pastoral curriculum and personal development
