What skills and experience we're looking for

As Assistant Head Teacher at the Brookfield School, you will have the chance to teach in a creative and inspiring way, lead a team of committed teachers and to help us shape the vision of the school as we continue to move forwards to being an outstanding provision.

Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will help to set the vision for the future of the school, ensuring our young people leave our school as confident, resilient, emotionally literate, ambitious and tolerant young people who are effective communicators in wider society with the necessary qualifications and skills to succeed. We want them to be proud of what they have achieved and have high expectations of themselves and for their futures.

You will be an outstanding teacher who can continue to model this to colleagues and who has a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs. You will be dedicated to working with families, championing vulnerable children and will have a working knowledge of SEN in terms of practice and legislative frameworks.
