Assistant Headteacher job summary
Are you able to energise all stakeholders – with meaning and purpose, to push educational boundaries in achieving educational excellence?
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and inspirational Assistant Headteacher who possesses the talent and enthusiasm necessary to join our highly committed team of staff within our school.
You will have the ability to implement improvement throughout the Academy and have a passion for raising standards and encouraging pupils to develop a love of learning.
The successful candidates will:
• Promote a love of lifelong learning
• Have excellent leadership, organisational and management skills
• Demonstrate the ability to build on success and manage change
• Show commitment to a culture of continuous improvement that promotes excellence for staff and pupils alike and builds on our current Ofsted rating
• Demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to articulate a clear vision for the through school and support positive relationships across the Trust
• Contribute significantly to the wider development of all schools within the Trust

Tile Cross Academy is a small and caring 11-16 mixed comprehensive school that was created on 1st May 2017 and is part of Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust. We are proud winners of ‘School of the Year’ and have high expectations for our students in which they develop through the use of our Character Programme. We aim to provide a high quality education in an atmosphere of mutual respect where each individual is valued as an important member of our school community.
