We are seeking an Assistant headteacher with responsibility for Inclusion, to join our Senior Leadership Team. We require a diligent, committed and caring person who is passionate about special educational needs, to lead the high-quality SEND provision within our school.We are looking for an experienced practitioner who has excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with our families and work with our teaching team to ensure the impact of all interventions are effective.
Do you have:
- a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEND, particularly speech and language, ASD and SEMH;
- experience of successful leadership and management within a school or other educational setting;
- the ability to provide professional leadership and management of a staff team and contribute to the work of other teams to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for ALL pupils across the school;
- the knowledge of relevant legislation
- the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- the ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- the ability to inspire, enthuse and motivate others
- ambition for yourself and the school you work in and a desire to work in partnership with others
the ability to establish and develop good relationships with all members of the school community
