Our school is currently undergoing significant expansion, with a vision of becoming a centre of excellence for children and families in Reading. This is an exciting time to join our dynamic team and all roles will play a key part in developing the strategic vision of our school whilst ensuring the highest quality of education and care for pupils, so that each individual can reach their full potential and are safe and happy at school.
For all posts we are looking for candidates with proven experience of meeting outcomes for young people with SEND, and a passion to drive forward the vision and the strategic development of the school. You should be committed, energetic and creative professionals who are able to work closely with pupils, colleagues, the Board of Trustees, parents, the wider community, local mainstream schools and Local Authorities.
In this new role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all members of staff have a positive and productive working experience. You will take leadership of a programme of progressive induction, high quality and cost effective CPD, staff performance development and mentoring, and developing a cohesive staff community.
The Avenue is a day school for pupils aged 2 – 19 with complex special needs including those with significant health needs and autism.
